From a private draft to a safe shared story
What a family reviews before a PictureBook becomes ready to read or share.
PictureBook treats “ready” as a product state earned through review, not simply the moment an AI provider returns a result.
Story approval comes first
A complete story has exactly twelve English and Chinese page pairs. The parent reviews the latest revision and either approves it or records a clear change request before illustrations can move forward.
Every visual has its own decision
The cover, character reference, art direction, and page illustrations each keep their own generation and review status. Only approved media can appear in the finished reader.
The voice begins with one page
The first narrated page is an audition. Full narration remains unavailable until the parent approves that voice, and automatic playback stays opt-in in the reader.
Ready does not mean public
A ready book is still private. Sharing requires a separate guardian-consent decision and creates a revocable capability link. Printing and HTML export also remain owner-authenticated handoffs.
This sequence keeps the technology in service of a family decision: review the story, see the pictures, hear the voice, and only then choose how to read it.
